ELEPHANT (FOUR TO FIVE PRE-K)
4 years old have an extremely high energy level. They advance in ability to maintain body balance and equilibrium. Fine motor development is nearly complete. Four years old is beginning to develop a sense of humor. They will watch adults and often laugh as they do. They will laugh and simply to make others laugh. At this age, children are beginning to realize that others have feelings, ideas, and opinions just as she does. Four years old manipulate their environment and make discoveries about it. They talk as they act, and they act out their thoughts. The Pre-K program design is to focus on all areas of development and Kindergarten Readiness. The curriculum is developed to monitor each child’s development milestone and to structure a Kindergarten Readiness program include basic reading, writing and math.
